Our Story

Have you ever wondered how Liberty has the freshest bread, pasta and desserts in town? Well, that is because behind the scenes (below the restaurant) we have a large production kitchen where we employ a team of baking experts, the Liberty Artisan Bakers. This team makes all our pizza dough, bread, pasta, desserts and of course Reno's favorite pretzel twist. Not only do they supply Liberty with their delicious culinary creations but also support all Local Food Group locations with fresh bread, pizza dough and desserts.


From there our amazing team of restaurant chefs get to work.  Not only do they have hand crafted fresh products made in house but also work closely with regional food purveyors to source fresh local ingredients.  This gives them the basis to create some of Reno's finest dishes, found in our starters, salads, pizza, pasta and entrée sections.  A large portion of our menu is cooked in our Marra Forni double sided wood-fired oven.  With one side being our pizza oven and the other our grill.


This is all accompanied by a highly skilled front of house and bar staff that strives for great service, unique wine offerings and expertly crafted cocktail lists.  Making Liberty a downtown staple every time.


They have also recently launch a line of Liberty Artisan Pasta that is bronze die extruded, slow dried, durum wheat pasta. Find out more here.
